Pip-pip, Cicero and St. Jerome!
I signed up for a Latin class this fall. Pope John XIII claimed that "Latina est lingua Ecclesiae viva," but local tradition associates it with the slow and tortured death of countless students. I wonder if that bodes ill for those with full time jobs who try to study Latin in their spare time?

Good luck! I always hated learning foriegn languages, but hopefully Latin will be different.
Thanks! I actually enjoy languages, but the time commitment is a little intimidating nonetheless.
